How to eat unpolished rice in more healthy way?
Unpolished rice is a seed, it comes with a defence mechanism to protect the nutrition. the protection includes enzyme inhibitor and phytic acid. the three common ways to remove phytic acid are: soak, germinate and ferment. phytic acid is on the grain’s coat; it inhibits absorption of minerals like calcium, magnesium and zinc. once we soak the unpolished rice (seed), we trick it into the germination process, and therefore remove its protection, so that we reach the rice’s nutrition.
It is recommended that rice be soaked overnight or over 7 hours to neutralize phytic acid. soaking can enhance complete nutrition, heighten values of vitamin a, c and b, increase body absorption of protein, and release active enzyme.
