Don't want to open a big bottle of wine? Her is the answer!
This Medium-bodied Riesling is versatile for pairing with food. It can be paired with white fish or pork, and is one of the few wines that can stand up to the stronger flavours and spices of Thai and Chinese cuisine.
Qualitätswein bestimmter Anbaugebiete (QbA) is Germany's second tier of wine quality classification, and means literally 'quality wine from a specified region'. QbA wines come from 11 specified winegrowing regions. All wines carrying this rating are produced from approved grape varieties and have levels of ripeness that allow the wines made from them to reach a certain traditional level of taste and style.
About the Winery
Over 200 years ago the Schmitt ancestors settled in the small village of Longuich, located along the Mosel River in the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer wine region, and began managing vineyards and producing wine. Now in the 4th generation, Schmitt Söhne is one of Germany’s largest and most successful wine exporters to wine drinkers all over the world. While continuously developing our winemaking and looking for ways to incorporate new technologies and techniques, we never lose sight of the traditional way of producing exceptional German wines.
Our policy has remained the same for over 200 years: We want to produce the best wines possible using only top-quality grapes. Today we offer the whole world a taste of great wines at affordable prices.
This delicate, moderately light bodied Riesling has a tasteful,
granny smith apple characteristic that is crisp and lively
on the palate. It’s even perfect by itself.
